Great location

Great location with Jalan alor just across the main road which has bar street at the opposite end. Times Square within walking distance which has a large supermarket in the basement (closing time 10pm) China town and central market are also within a 15 min walk. The monorail and LRT are just a few minuets walk away and easy to use and navigate. The apartment itself is large and clean with a pool view. However there is a lack of essentials where the kitchen is concerned and therefore it would be difficult to cook a meal. Please note the apartment is located within Swiss Garden Residence Our taxi driver was a little confused where to drop us.

There is no reception, on arrival we had to make contact with the manager. There was no beverages and no bottled water. The sofa was terrible as there were no legs to it and so was very low. Very uncomfortable to watch tv. On the plus side the views were amazing and the town center was walking distance.

Amazing suite near times square

Absolutely love the room. Very spacious. Very clean. Very neat. Located on a high floor thus view was good. Just that it's location is a little confusing. Should have stated that it was in swiss garden residences.

Value For Money YET Convenient accommodation

We chanced upon this accommodation after a few days of online search. As we were travelling with 3 children (ages 5, 7 and 11) and a 70+ senior, it was not easy to find something within our budget, yet spacious enough to accommodate all and at the same time, conveniently well located to all the attractions! RPSSA is strategically located. It is about 8mins' walk to Pudu Sentral Bus station (where u can catch express bus to Genting Highlands for instance), 13 mins' walk to Petaling Street (Chinatown), 10 mins' walk to Berjaya Times Square, Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang etc We booked a 3 bedroom apartment at a good price for 4 days 3 nights. The rooms came with King beds and ensuite bathrooms. The living hall is big with sofa, TV (reception not too good though), 6 seater dining table. There were microwave, toaster and washing machine. There were supposed to be a dryer but it wasn't there. The fridge has no trays and the bottom drawer tray is broken. Some unimportant room lights were not working too. The water heater was quite silly...it came with a very short electric wire that is attached to the flask...so you have to unplug the whole thing, top up water and then plug it in again.The room cleanliness was acceptable but we can tell there were layer of dust in the wardrobes..possibly unoccupied for a while. We can use the swimming pool and gym but we were unable to borrow the pool towels as we were officially not guests of the hotel. The owner & staff were v helpful.

3 days before i go over they email me their apartment is fully booked and they change a room for me and the room is haunted. Its a very terrible experience, the door locked by itself and also the fridge opened by itself and we go scratches on our thigh when we were showering. Room 33406, level 34.

Excellent stay at Ran Pacific Serviced Residences.

The apartment was well maintained and the support staff was very cooperative. Location is wonderful as it's close to almost all major attractions including food which was an added benefit. Overall the stay was quite comfortable. Access to swimming pool and gym is a great value add. It's as good as your own home away from home. Highly recommended for families.

I'm quite dissapointed with the appartment condition with such expensive rate i.e. room doors can't be locked properly, no water to flush in washroom, air cond in master rooms cannot function well, it's so stuffy! Anyway, I wish the owner may provide repair and maintenance service regularly, it's unreasonable rent a poor facility conditional accommodation for those tourist who have booked im advanced. It's really an irritating situation during a trip.

Swiss Garden Residence (3 Bedroom Apartment)

Pros - Spacious Space in the living room - High Level ( Level 34 ) with nice view of the city including KLCC and Menara KL - Free Parking at the Residence Carpark - Nice Infinity Pool - Less than 10 Mins drive( If no jam) to popular shopping areas like Petaling Street and Masjid Jamek - Good Wifi Cons - Tv at living room do not have much channels ( Using antennae, no Astro) - No Tv in the bedrooms even the Master Bedroom - Some of the doors in the room needs to be replaced - Not much basic toiletries provided in the bathroom, ( No toothbrush ) - Room walls need a new coat of paint - Room booked in Expedia did not mention that it is booked under a private agent, thus I have to go through the hassle of finding the person to liase with Overall, paid around $280 for 2 nights for this 3 bedroom apartment. In my opiniom, not cheap and not expensive either when weighing the pros and cons together and if this amount will be shared equally between for e.g 5-6 ppl, it is less than $50-$60 per person for 2 nights. If Tv in the living room fitted with Astro and there is Tv too at the other rooms or at least the master bedroom, I guess i might recommend to friends and families.

Unexpected....

The help/guide who helped us with checkin and looked after us should be awared; excellent service and he made him self available at all times. The apartment was quite rough; across from construction sites. The condition was poor .. following were not in the room or not working: 1) Microwave - help brought it the 2nd day 2) Lockbox - broken 3) Iron - burnt 2 clothes as it was full heat or none 4) Family Area AC remote (so it was on or off) 5) Wifi only worked in 1 room ... a 2nd Wifi AP one was given 2nd day for the building but was terribly slow. There were flies and ants in the apartment. The sofas, dining chairs were stained and didn't look hygienic. The positive; it is spacious 2 bedroom. Book at your own caution.

The Nightmare

Pictures stated in Expedia are so misleading! Not at all the same! Worse of all it's a private unit which wasn't stated when we booked it. The room amenities were the wifi, soaps, bath towels and parking only. When the website in Expedia listed many more ie bedroom slippers, toiletries etc. Bedsheets and duvet were filthy with stains and hairs! Pillows were hard, bed headboard was filthy! Only 2 local TV channels: The person who passed us the keys were not friendly and as helpful at all. We had to pay for the parking first and was reimbursed upon check out. All in all, the most filthy rooms ever! Walls are all stained. Will not ever book with Expedia and this apartment. Room no N-11-06
