The flying bull was very welcoming, check in / out was easy. The food was very good quality and reasonably priced. The bar/ restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming
Room was fine, clean and well equipped. Nice family run pub, with friendly helpful staff. Not being able to get a Sunday evening dinner was disappointing for us. Also we needed an early morning start so had miss breakfast. Location is ideal for visiting Goodwood.
We had big problems when we arrived at 18.00 hrs; it lasted about 1 hr before the host arrived for the check in. The reason was that the Flying Bull closes on Sunday at 17.00 hr and we were asked to contact by telephone, but our efforts unfortunately failed. We had to ask help from Expedia, but a leaving guest could help us at last.
Anyhow the room and brakfast were at least satyfying.
It was clean ,confortable and very good value...excellent service .
Lovely breakfsst...highly recommended..i stayed in famy room..roomy..large well equiped bathroom...quite...my 2 boys felt at home ..a very good sign. Easy to find ..good access to other areas via main routes.
Good size room, reasonably well equiped with a nice ensuite but the double bed was 2 singles joined together so felt like a ridge down the middle. The emergency lighting (green glow)was an annoyance when trying to sleep. The manager & staff were very welcoming & the food was good however the strange rules around breakfast times (1 hour service & advance notification of time) was very restrictive - monday breakfast was only 7.30 to 8.30 not ideal when on holiday but we did enjoy the breakfast & we would return if in the area.
Great place for visit Goodwood festival of speed.
Nice and quiet hotel, our room was just at the car parking so no stairs.
Only bad thing was that all the bathroom went wet when you got a shower, no curtains.
Nice and friendly staff and good food and breakfast.
The hosts and staff were very friendly and made us all feel welcome including our small dog, Betty. The room was a bit small for all four of us but it was to be expected as this was a small country pub on essence. The food was good on the whole but would have expected the children's breakfast to be free as they hardly ate anything and had one glass of juice. May have eaten more had the selection of cereals been greater. Enjoyable stay and would consider returning sometime in the future.
