This hotel was a surprise. It is spotless, comfortable and friendly. Recently remodeled, the room was large and convenient with everything you could possibly want.. The people at the desk and in the dining room were very accommodating. We were made to feel like old friends. The price was more than reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

A Motel in Designer Clothes

This place left me a little torn. On the outside and in the common spaces, it looks fantastic — they’ve clearly done a beautiful job remodeling what feels like an old motel into something stylish and modern. The vibe is great, and the rooms are comfortable, well decorated, and really do look good at first glance. That said, something about it feels a bit “off” once you’re inside the room. For me, it was the sink — it was completely clogged and not draining at all when I checked in. The staff fixed it quickly (they were very diligent and helpful), but it made me realize this is probably a property where things break often behind the scenes. It’s like the bones are old, even though the face-lift is excellent. Overall, it’s a cute place with a great remodel and a fun vibe — just be ready for occasional hiccups that remind you it’s still an older property underneath the new shine.

Everything was great except getting put into an accessible room, which we didn’t need, so that was kind of weird. But the hotel was clean and great for a quick overnight to the Newport area.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and were generous when we asked for extra coffee, towels and water bottles (complimentary). The room was simple but updated and clean. The beds were very comfortable. It was quiet in our room throughout our several day stay. The bar was expensive but had live music. There’s a decent selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the lobby. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the motel to others staying in the area.
