Great location for proximity to centre and Oktoberfest - about 15m walk in either direction. Very close to main train station, so that in itself can bring its own issues, both positive and negative. Staff to a man/woman were great and would stay again.

This hotel was good enough for a two night stay in Munich during Oktoberfest. Nothing special, but nothing to truly complain about either. The photos online do make it look a bit nicer than it does in person. Like it has a nice facade but is of mid tier quality. What really stood out was the staff. Everybody we interacted with was great. Kudos to them!

Great location but very loud

The hotel describes the rooms as soundproof and that was entirely inaccurate. I could clearly hear conversations from neighboring rooms and the sound of the any nearby doors closing was extremely loud and disturbing. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Despite this, the location of the hotel was hard to beat. It is centrally located to everything and an easy 10-15 min walk. Also, the front desk staff was phenomenal. They were very pleasant and helpful.

Great location for a stay in Munich. We walked to the Marienplatz area and used public transportation options across the street from hotel too. Property is very nice. Clean, well-maintained, quiet (with windows closed, of course) and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We utilized their convenient valet parking for our vehicle.

There were a few maintenance issues but the best thing about this hotel was the location. Across the street from main train station, steps to tram/bus stations and feet from airport shuttle. Walkable to main tourist sites.

Largely had a good stay. Staff were professional and helpful. It was nice to have a full breakfast included daily. Great location with equal proximity to Octoberfest and Marienplatz and other sights.

The location was off the beaten path— on outskirts and across from the main train terminal. The area didn’t have much to offer. The rooms were fine—- definitely not a 5 star hotel by American standards. I’d give it a 3.8

Deceitful booking practices. Location is great but the booking process is deceitful. If you book a Superior Single room beware: the large double bed in the photo is not what you’re going to get. You are going to get a single twin bed in an attic closet. There is barely enough room for me to spin in a circle without hitting my head on the ceiling/roof. You would think that upgrading from Standard Single to Superior Single would reflect a large double/queen bed, as shown in the booking photos on their website. When you toggle between Superior Single and Superior Double, the photos show the same large bed but with either single pillow setting or two pillow settings. On a better note, the bar staff were very attentive. The front desk staff were sweet too but there is nothing they can do due to full occupancy. Still not a happy guest. Oh and the bathroom and shower are a joke, I’ve had larger on cruise ships. EDIT: They did move me to another room the next morning, representative of the one shown on the website/booking photos.

Great hotel 1 minute walk from the central train station, and 10 min walk from the Old town —> at a reasonable price. Staff were fantastic. Bar staff so attentive. Room was modern with everything one could want. Clean and comfy.
