The positive is that the location was great. It's very near Jackson Square, and was easily walkable to French Quarter restaurants and attractions. It's a historic hotel so it was not just a cookie cutter room, but had personality. The negative for us was a dog that barked from midnight to 2 a.m. because the owner left him alone. Just be aware that it is a pet friendly hotel where people are likely to be out at night, so this might happen to you as well. For that reason we would not book here again, but it was a very nice hotel otherwise.

I really have been impressed by this beautiful hotel. The staff is extremely kind and makes you feel very welcome. We swam in the pool every day. Clean towels and comfy lounging were always available. Free wifi too. What stood out most to me was the staff that always greeted us and opened the door to the main entrance. They offered free cucumber water. Definitely was appreciated after walking around in the heat. We really loved this place for it's unbeatable charm and class! They didn't skimp on anything here. Coffee in the morning. Up scale restaurant, and a bar. They also brought us drinks right to the pool. The staff makes this classy hotel so much more than just a hotel stay.

Friendly staff and although their computers had went down they made sure we were not waiting around for it to come back up and took care of us making sure we can get into our room timely. Will defiantly be going back.

Our stay was beautiful and perfectly located a couple of blocks from the heart of New Orleans. Even though the hotel is located so close to Bourbon street, you couldn’t hear any noise from inside our room at night. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but the pool area was very clean and pretty.

The hotel is right on Bourbon and Orleans Street so you could step out onto Bourbon Street and walk around. Not far from excursions and all the popular places in the French Quarter area. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Parking is valet only it’s a small little street.

This was my first time staying at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel and it won't be the last! EXTREMELY friendly and helpful staff. The lobby is stunning. The room was very spacious. Location - PRIME. A convenient walk to wherever you may be wanting to go.
