First class hotel in a perfect location, at the heart of everything. Beautiful modern room. I had a balcony, which was well worth the extra expense. The pool and spa facilities are superb for relaxing. Breakfast is unique, with a personal buffet brought to your table plus whatever you would like to order. Helpful staff, lovely common areas. Perfect.

Set within the walls of the old city and located right at the Hauptmarkt which made it easy for walking the area. Lots of cute little shops, restaurants and gelato shops all around. Several beautiful churches. I thought a free breakfast was included at the hotel but it was not. Lots of coffee and bakery shops available though, even a Starbucks! Bring your own washcloths.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karl August – a Neighborhood Hotel. The hotel’s modern design and central location made it an ideal base for exploring Nuremberg’s historic sites. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. A highlight for me was the spa; I booked a massage that was truly exceptional, leaving me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The only downside was the noise from the courtyard, which continued until late in the evening. While this was beyond the hotel’s control, it did affect our sleep quality. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a stylish and centrally located accommodation in Nuremberg, especially those looking to indulge in excellent spa services.
