Housekeeping could have been better. Water glasses were not properly cleaned, a bath towel put in our room after cleaning was dirty, wash clothes were forgotten one day. Also, a problem with HVAC, was turned off inexplicably and had to call down to rectify.

The hotel is very historic and distinctive, maintained in wonderful condition. Breakfast buffet is excellent with good variety and service when you need it. The dining room/cafe is wonderful.

Terrible room with ridiculously small bathroom. Sink was such poor design almost unusable. Breakfast awful.. cold scrambled eggs and bacon, minimal cold meat cheese etc. Dining area gloomy and shabby. The only good feature was the very helpful reception desk staff.
