We had roaches in our room. The HVAC kept going off and on, making our room very muggy. Everything in the room is dated except for the tv. The TV didnt have any channels for entertainment. No elevators. The bed was old and uncomfortable.

once reaching my roo.key card didnt work..had to be reset at desk..on the first floor so i needed a SECURE balcony door.wouldnt lock..was told i could use front door til someone came for repairs..explained i couldnt leave my room unsecured.eventually the whole door lock and fixture replaced..front desk and im assuming a manager..manuel HORRIBLE customer service. not a profession they should be in. Henry was WONDERFUL. i needed to print my boarding pass and he was more than KIND and HELPFUL to assist me. to many CHILDREN at the swim up bar sitting on the stool drinking water or playing. adults PAID and TIP for that service..children should NOT be allowed in any bar area or in the jacuzzi with rafts and big blow up pool toys..culture night was WONDERFUL...there were activities through out the day and the shows at night were GREAT..would probably return ;-)

The property is fantastic, but Iberostar customer service from the top lacks consistency. I had to cancell a resavation for a family friend who had an emergency, the room was not used Yet Iberostar charged me the full 600 + U.S Dollars. This was a totall rip off.

Pros: - The shows and entertainment were enjoyable and well put together. - The food at the on-site restaurants was noticeably better than what was offered at the buffet. Cons: - The check-in experience was disappointing. The staff member who assisted us was not very welcoming. Initially, he tried to redirect us to another check-in line because we had booked through Expedia. We explained that we were sent to him since the other check-in area was closed. After confirming this with another associate, he did proceed to check us in, but provided no information about the property, the available amenities, or the restaurant reservation process. - Room cleanliness was lacking. Upon entering our room, we found hair on the shower floor, a blood stain on one of the pillows, and the room itself felt damp and overly humid. - The buffet food was below expectations. The meats were tough and difficult to chew, seasoning was inconsistent, the mangu was clumpy, and the rice was undercooked.
