Overall I would say the customer service needs a bit of an improvement. Rooms could be updated with simple things, like a mirror in the bedroom, corner shelves in the shower, being able to contact the front desk on the phone instead of walking there each time for a simple question, concern, room issue. Having some clarity if there are issues that occur like no running water (apparently it occured also in other areas in DR) so not completely the hotels fault, but atleast tell guests what is happening. More lounge chairs for the amount of guests that are there.

The staff was wonderful and very hard working. The pools were always clean and they were constantly cleaning. The resort advertised tennis courts and there were none. The activities were limited and the entertainment in the evening was not very entertaining to me. Apparently some of the rooms are nice but the one we had needed a lot of updating. I need an accessible room and although there were grab bars in the shower there was none by the commode which was problematic. Some of the walkways were flat but to go to the reception area, the smaller pool, the gift shop and the à la carte restaurant there was uneven stones with holes and if it wasn’t for my teenage grandsons I never could have gone to those areas.

The shower water smelled like pure sewage, the toilet was filthy, the sheets are too small for the bed and the tv did not work. I complained the same day I checked in and they told me to run the water and it will go away. It didNOT go away!!!! Couldn’t get pool towels the whole time we were there cause they claimed not to have. The food was NOT good. I will never return.
