Old fashioned hospitality in beautiful building

The location of the hotel is perfect particularly if you arrive by car. There is free parking in streets around the property and it is an easy leisurely walk to the old town. The property is a beautiful historic building tastefully renovated and staff are friendly and happy to engage and answer any questions.

We recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again! Beautiful property to sit during the day and evening, and quiet surrounding neighborhood, easy walk into city center. The most comfortable mattresses we have found on our travels, were in the family room of this hotel. Beautiful location, friendly staff, delicious coffee at breakfast. Quick 10 minute walk to the historic district. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to add a little more storage in the room and bathroom (and maybe some hooks).

This hotel had lovely rooms and in a great location! Walkable to everything but quiet at nighttime. Our room had two rooms and a balcony, which we used frequently. The staff were very helpful, including helping us book tickets to live music. Would recommend this place to friends!

However the bed was rock hard and we were given the dark junior suite on the top floor even though we were staying for 7 nights and would have outdoor the light version down a stairs preferable - i9t;s dark and dingy, people very friendly and place kept clean but far from eco friendly with fresh plastic cup in plastic sleeve ever day and old ones taken away even though we were clearly using them, breakfast good with fruit an meats selections and appreciated the gluten free efforts, staff general friendly and hotel in a good position,
