Unreleased Deposit

I didn’t have any issue with my stay back in September; however, my deposit has still not been returned. I called twice two weeks after my stay and was informed that the deposit had been released and there were no charges. Yet, up to this day, I still haven’t received it. It’s such a shame that I have to write this review because it seems no one truly cares to resolve the issue.

Bae bones as expected

Front desk check in guy was super nice. Rooms are bar boned, no coffee maker, no hair dryer. But clean, fine one night. But in the hallway there were several ceiling tiles out and on the floor so that was concerning. No water bottles in the vending machine.

Bathtub had rust. Door to room has big gap so not only do you get hallway air, you hear foot traffic. Staff was nice. They do charge you $50 then don't tell you what it's for, so that's not ok.

Our room was supposed to be a three bedroom suite but it was three beds shoved in an area with very poor lighting. We tried to turn on the heat and it made the whole room smell horrible so we had to shut the air off. The door to our room didn’t close tightly and even when we bolted the locks, you could shake the whole door so it did not feel safe. Im not one to usually complain but this was not the best experience

Poor customer service

The hotel itself was fine but the customer service was terrible. we asked for a later check out because we’re had traveled a distance for long run and they said we could only schedule it in the morning after the morning shift arrived, but we had to leave prior to 7:00, he didn’t care and would not help us. Breakfast also was not served to 7:00 Ava we had to leave at 7:00 and he was kinda rude about it when we said we had to leave a little before 7:00 was there anything we could do? Normal breakfast is out by 6;00. He said there may be most the stuff out before 7:00 We could check. Thankfully we were able to grab some quick carbs before race time but it was so pre packaged so I am not sure why the guy couldn’t be a little more helpful and courteous.

The hotel is on a very busy N-S divider road and you have loud vehicles going by. Two things i didn’t care for, no spoons for yogurt, and coffee ran out and was not replaced. Would have been nice to have had hair conditioner, only had shampoo. Shower drain was kinda gross and also broken.
