The hall on the fourth floor smelled terrible and the carpet was disgusting. In the room, floors weren't clean, the chest drawer drawers weren't working, the desk chair's armrests were sticky (I had to clean them my self), the toilet was dirty, it had like pee stains by the base, the bath tub was dirty and looks like the sink was broken and glued back together with yellow glue that made it look dirty. I found hair in one of the beds and I couldn't even sleep because of the smelly pillows, they smelled like sweat and bleach. It's understandable that they are doing some work but the cleaningness should be priority and it will make it up for the waffle maker not working. I planned to stay here for 4 days but ended up leaving next morning. So I'm sorry but I can not recommend this hotel.

In early check-in form, I asked for a quiet room, but I was given a room facing the high way. It was very noisy. If all the quiet rooms were full, the staff should have explained it to me. Also the towel had a piece of broccoli on it. The drawer of the dress won't close. This is my first time staying at La Quinta, it is horrible!

FIRST room’s air conditioner did NOT work. Maintenance could not repair it. The second room’s shower did NOT work at first. There was NO water coming out of the shower head. After adjusting the head I was able to get a small amount of water to flow. The water COMPLETELY STOPPED in the middle of my shower! I have stayed in this property for over ten years. This was absolutely the worst quality stay I have ever experienced staying at a hotel.

The ongoing renovation is more cosmetic than substantive. Think new carpet and paint. They are using the lowest bidder and it shows. Poor job maaking for paint. Electrical outlet hanging out of the wall. Bathroom door won't close because they painted the door and the door frame and they rub together. Tub faucet waa not attached correctly. Toilet was mounted at about a 15° angle from the wall. I suspect they broke the flange and were roo lazy to replace it. Sink was a residential pedestal that you might find in a half bath setup. No counter space whatsoever. Floor was not level so the dresser drawers kept sliding out. Ice machine only worked on one floor. One of the two elevators did not work. Despite these things, the room was clean. Staff was friendly. Again, they are clearly using a contractor that doesn’t care much about quality.
