What a lovely guest house. The host, her family and staff were excellent and very welcoming. A great breakfast started the day and kept you going to supper time!! The suite I had was as described and roomy..
The house and our room were thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. The host was excellent as was our breakfast. Comfort, cleanliness and a little bit of art deco glamour. A lovely stay with Sophia.
Beautiful room, quiet pleasant house, pretty gardens, lovely host, and perfect breakfasts.
Easy parking on property and great cafes and wineries nearby.
I booked this for my parents. They said it was very comfortable and homely. Reminded them of how accommodation used to be - quality and personable. The host Sofia was very hospitable, really lovely. They enjoyed breakfast of fresh home cooked bacon and eggs with freshly brewed rich coffee with the charm of yesteryear sitting around a large dining table altogether with the other guests enjoying happy & friendly conversation guests. A very pleasant overnight stay in the Barossa indeed
Sophia, the host, is fantastic. She teamed up exclusively for me to do Soul growers tasting. Wonderful by itself. Home away from home 👍

The Barossa House was wonderful - the owner Sophia so welcoming and friendly - the bedroom was very clean, well equipped, and had everything we wanted & needed.
Sonia was an amazing hostess. The Barossa House is a beautiful show piece of Australian history, that is looked after immaculately by Sonia. Would highly recommend x
This was one of the most welcoming experiences we have ever had. Sofia really does make you feel as if you're family. Her knowledge of the nearby vineyards was invaluable to us. Our breakfast and send off were beautiful.
This is a great place to stay while exploring the Barossa. The Eucalyptus suite was very comfortable with a small but adequate bathroom. We liked having a separate entrance so we could come and go without disturbing any other guests. Breakfast was lovely. As we had an early checkout, we appreciated the option of a light breakfast in our room before we left. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
