Hotel location was excellent. We had a suite with loads of space, very comfortable! Hotel is a Grand Dame from the past but location right on the Adriatic with beautiful views was outstanding. It has also been recently renovated so rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. Our room could have had more accessible plugs for charging but we made it work. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. Breakfast was bountiful and served in a grand dining area with beautiful views of the Sea. We were very pleased to have stayed at the Savoia while visiting Trieste!

Beautiful hotel. Bar and lobby, gorgeous. Perfect location. Valet Parking could run smoother. No one dedicated to taking keys as you arrive or get your car, so you have to interrupt front desk staff when they are with other clients..

The hotel was beautiful and had so much character. We were given an accessible room( did not ask or need it). We found the bath tub / shower to be very off balance. The bottom of the tub had a big hump in the middle and you had to straddle it to stand. I almost fell. The bed was very soft, both myself and my husband woke up with back aches. We also had to ask for body lotion as there was none in our room. Minor things I guess as the location was perfect especially if you are cruising as the port is right across the street. Lots of restaurant's in walking distance.

The property is lovely but a little tired. The staff is professional but not especially friendly. The concierge told us we could get our VAT tax refund at the train station. When we got there they said they hadn’t had that service since pre-covid! For a king size room they provided one small water bottle per day. I had to call and request body lotion. Not a bad stay but not great.
