The stay itself was great. Clean, close to food and coffee shops that you can walk to as well as grocery options. However, the guy who checked us in was unnecessarily rude to us. We came from Oregon and I had called the hotel ahead of time and said that we would be arriving after midnight, not exactly sure when. Checking in the guy was so rude and said "you're late" I said "I called to tell you I would be here after midnight" he cut me off and said "it's 2 am, after midnight". Yeah bus 2 am is after midnight, just like I said when I called. I found it to be extremely rude for no reason. We were tired and had a long trip and it was not needed at all. Highly unprofessional. Luckily the rest of our stay was smooth and pleasant. I would just take a look at how you talk to guests.

Entered the room and it had a moldy smell. We had to open the window of our first floor room to air out the smell. Even after airing out the room, it still had a smell that lingered. Breakfast was subpar, mostly muffins and pastries and NO to-go cups. We couldn’t get our coffee to-go.

For the price, this is a great option when visiting Vancouver! Only 15 minutes or so from downtown Vancouver across the spectacular Lions Gate bridge and so close to Stanley Park. This is a classic "motor lodge" with free parking and the Continental Breakfast was plentiful and even had a pancake machine. Upgraded pastries and a great selection.

The hotel itself was okay. But there was no eggs for breakfast. More importantly, the breakfast dining area was outdoor and crows were coming into the eating area and steeling food from the tables and even birds were pooping on the breakfast tables....

This is a solid option for a nights stay. Staff are pleasant. Rooms are very tired. Bathrooms clean but very old. Floor was on a very bad slant. Location very good.

Facility is older or at least feels that way. Room was meh and not in the best shape. Feels like property used at a transient holdover or maybe they rent monthly to people between housing. Seen multiple people hanging in parking lot, some drinking, which made it feel sketchier and that everything needed to be locked up right away. Breakfast was ok but fairly limited. Pastries were very very dried and almost all needed to be consumed with a beverage to rehydrate them but even then i don’t think we finished any pastry we chose. Price was decent compared to other hotels in the area but overpriced for the state of the property. Unlikely to stay here again.

The room was almost right on the side of a busy road. Asked staff for a quieter room and offered one a few doors away but same proximity to busy road. When asked how we could get a quieter room the staff on duty advised we could if we had booked directly with hotel not thru expedia. The room was comfortable but the road noise and noise from next door make sleep difficult. The neighbouring rooms kids were literally running around - stomping at 5am. Yikes! I thought i was booking a familiar hotel close by. When i realized my mistake I opted to go ahead and try it. I wont make that mistake again.
