Only 2 front desk agents working during check in is unacceptable, especially on valentines with 2 conventions happening. There were about 6 people ahead of us and it took almost 40 min to check in and our room wasnt ready - the system updated and showed our room available at the end of our check in process but this was already at 520pm.

I booked the Pan Pacific hotel for a very special Valentine’s night with the most special woman in my life. And Pan Pacific did not disappoint! The check-in line was a little long, but they upgraded our room to a suite on a high floor. I work downtown and have lived in Vancouver for decades, but the view from the Pan Pacific, across to north Vancouver and watching the sea-planes taking off from the harbour was breathtaking. The room was amazing, the service was top-notch and in the end, we had a once-in-a-lifetime Valentine’s Day, and the Pan Pacific hotel was a big part of it. Thank you.
