I don't know if they are doing a renovation, but there was carpet up and some tiles needing replacement.

The Trail Hotel
Hot tub wasn’t hot. Rooms are drafty, but we were there on a very cold weekend. Hotel is beautiful, well maintained. Bar is fantastic!

Ramada by Wyndham Elizabethtown
The breakfast was pretty underwhelming. Other than that a solid place to stay for no frills. Bonus of Texas Roadhouse right next door.
