We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly. The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The staff was most welcoming, efficiant and helpful. The balcony with river view was wonderful. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was special.
