It was horrible . My father with blood pressure and claustrophobia and I got trapped in the elevator and staff was no where to be seen . We ourselves physically had to open the elevator in the 80 degree weather . The bathroom was broken, ceiling was broken, bed was broken, ac broken.

This was the perfect spot next to the Tropicana. It was close to the AC attractions. I had no need to use my car. Close to the quiet side of AC which I liked. Clean and safe with direct access to the beach. The pool was a Bouns. This was the reason I chose this place because of casino's charging guest to use the pool. This place was nice and so was the staff. Perfect spot

Checked into my room after a long day of travel. I used the restroom, laid on the bed and immediately saw a bed bug crawling on top of the bed. I grabbed my bag, went to the front desk and notified them. They offered a different room. (Ummmm… no thank you.) They had no other objections to me leaving, refunded my $10 parking, but said I’d have to get my room refund through Expedia since that’s where I booked. I called Expedia and they and the property had some back and forth. In the end, Expedia will not refund me because the property said they did not find any bedbugs in the room. I took photos and video and showed the property manager. I also left the tissue that I killed the bug with on the bed! Book elsewhere. Stay away from any Choice hotel, their customer service was awful as well.

Clarion owners should keep up with the place... Lamps. doors that don't close right. ,rugs replace them there old. looks bad..., get new lamps better lighting...when something breaks replace it with something new or better.. if they do not keep up with the place they will lose business / customers. keep it all good and clean.

It is a very nice Inn. Breakfast was good and staff was very courteous and friendly. They went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and welcome. Beds were comfortable. Nice spot near the beach.
