Views down the mountain are AMAZING! Especially in the fall as the leaves change, or at night with Gatlinburg all lit up. You literally can't beat the view out the living room and into Gatlinburg.Great layout, spacious, owner was great.Kitchen could use a little more gear, but we figured it out.The drive up is steep but fun!Definitely bear activity - saw two on property in two days.
Check-in information was not automatically sent to be but manager was quick to respond with check in code. House was clean, kitchen could use some more cooking pans, only pots no pans also could use at least 1 baking sheet. Got to see some black bears and her cubs right next to the deck. My biggest complaint on this property is that itâs for sale. On one day my mom wasnât feeling good so she stayed behind. She was in the kitchen cleaning up after breakfast when a couple was on the back porch, come to find out that they had a showing scheduled, no communication to us from property manager that someone would be there. All the women staying had jewelry out, I had spare money in my room all just out. We could have been showering, sleeping etc and random people just walk through the house you thought was private and not expecting a stranger. If my mom did not stay behind we would have never known that someone had just walked through the house.
This cabin was absolutely perfect. It is just as it is listed. The beds were all comfortable! The views were breathtaking! Sun up and sun down was so beautiful! It was very high up but was easy to get to. The host was very responsive and very kind! Very large home! The renovation that have been completed are beautiful! Hot tub was so nice as well!
The check in process was easy. The cabin was worn but we were aware ahead of time. The issue we had was the pool pass was not there and we had to wait three days for us to call the HOA to get a new one. There should have been a back up or something but was inly able to get one half way through the vacation. The communication was good and they continued to call and get us one but being the weekend we had to wait. It was unfair and really put a damper on the beginning of the vacation.
The place had a beautiful setting atop the Smoky Mountains. The drive up the mountain was pretty intense due to the location of the home. Beautiful view of the mountains from the living room. The home did have some broken furniture, fridge leaked, and washer would not drain properly. Maintenance did come and fix the issues while we were there. Pool is very close by with lots of things to do there. Communication with owners was very slow, they would not respond quickly, but did help with questions and concerns. Bears are very active around this home. We saw bears every day, even on our deck one of the mornings. Overall, good place for anyone, just the drive up and down was a little intense for the people we were with.
This place was not clean, very dated and run down. There was a ton of broken furniture from the bar stools in the basement to the kitchen table, coffee table, multiple bed frames, etc. We tried to cook but there was only 1 small skillet and no baking sheets. When we got there the electric was out on the mountain but there was zero communication from the property owner about an estimated time that it would come back on. We spent hours in the dark trying to figure out if we should leave or go somewhere else. Overall a horrible experience. I would never go back.
The view was truly spectacular! You get the mountains during the day and at night you can city the lights of Gatlinburg.
The house is located up the mountain, so be in gear! The house is a little older than surrounding houses, but all in all great place and weâll stocked.
We would definitely stay here again!
This cabin was way up on top of a mountain. The roads on the mountain are steep, winding, and narrow in many places. This isnât a knock on the property, just need to be aware. The view is amazing! The house is a little dated but nothing too bad, some mold in the bathrooms. Hot tub is clean. Wood burning fireplace was great! Little general store at the base of the mountain is just 5-7 min away and thereâs a pizza place that delivers up there too. 10 min from Gatlinburgâs main street.
We found the property adequate for our needs. We were stuck outside for almost an hour trying to get in because the code we had didn't work. I also think it is a bit over priced. There were lots of bugs, flying, crawling, indoor biting bugs. It was still a little cool so there were not a lot of bugs outside. We have a bear visit one morning which created some excitement. This is great place if you have a couple olf families as it will comfortably sleep about 12 people. Has a great kitchen but not much outside space.
We stayed here based upon the reviews stating they saw bears and bears we saw! We saw bears each day but be careful as one day a bear came up on the second level deck! Quite a surprise to us! We were very aware of being in bear country so had our trash/food all inside.
The drive is a bit challenging but worth the view.
We had an issue with the hot tub and the host was very responsive and folks came out Saturday evening to add water/clean it. The jets weren't strong but better. The front panel of the oven was off so you had to hold the door open to get food out.
Beds were comfortable and overall the cabin was clean.
We would stay here again.
The views are beautiful - especially sunrise.
The first point is that the location was great and the view. The house itself was dated, worn and not maintained. Oven door hinge didnât work, stair railing not secure definitely a safety hazard. The pool table was all stained, bath cabinets scratched, dining table had finish worn off in places, broken stool, outdoor chairs and the house badly in need of paint. Would not recommend and would not go back.
The house was not clean. Sheets had pubic or beard hair, not just normal hair. Lights didnât work in the room with bunk beds. The jacuzzi was not clean and working properly. A mouse ran around the kitchen all night. Definitely not worth almost 900 for one night.
Cabin rental in older, established neighborhood overlooking Gatlinburg.
The views are spectacular from
This cabin. Expect a thrilling drive to reach this rental. We liked that it felt cozy and private even though we could see other homes nearby. The owners responded quickly to our messages. Some things could still be updated or fixed (no felt tips on the pool cues, washer and dryer are very loud and squeaky are some examples) to make this cabin experience even better. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and had everything we needed as we cooked most of our meals during our stay. We would rent this cabin again.
Awesome sharing a late Thanksgiving with children and grandkids
Property was awesome! There was 11 of us, we had plenty of room to spread out and not be under foot LOL. Especially enjoyed: pool table the arcade game and the hot tub! The kitchen was well-stocked and spacious for the meals we cooked. Loved the gorgeous views from the deck! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 on the location; a couple of us had fear of heights and the road getting to the cabin was a little scary đthank you
A small group of friends stayed here for a pre-wedding get-away. I am so glad we were able to book this home. It is totally fun and the views are as beautiful as you think they are. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware if you prefer to eat in as opposed to eat out (we cooked a lot). The WiFi was great, multiple people were working remote with no connectivity issues. I definitely recommend this for your getaway.
