We loved our stay at Pa Willie's. The house and dock were convient to get around. Lori was helpful answering all my questions. Being close to the beach made it easy to go on morning walks to watch the sunrise. Highly suggest staying here.
This was our second stay at Pa Willieâs and it was equally good as the first. When we return to Elbow Cay, we hope to stay at Pa Willieâs again. The house is perfectly located, clean, and comfortable.
An amazing stay at Pa Willieâs. As someone who once lived in Hope Town it was amazing to stay at a local property. Perfect location in town. Check in process was super simple and Lory was really helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped (though we went out for dinner every night). If youâre looking for a rental with local charm in the center of town just steps away from the beach, then you will love staying here. We highly recommend that you do and canât wait to come back next year.
We stayed here for a week in July. The house is in a perfect location. It has everything you could need from dishes and cooking utensils to towels and linens. There are multiple Mitsubishi mini splits throughout the house, and it stays very cool during the summer. There is a gas grill in the backyard. There is laundry service in town. You can easily walk through the more historic part of town from the house. Cap'n Jack's was awesome for breakfast and dinner (highly recommend the French toast and smoothie). Vernon's and I Got the Munchies are also in town. I would recommend renting a golf cart to explore the more southern part of the cay with On Da Beach Bar, Firefly, and Abaco Inn. We also drove to pick up pizza one night at Island Sweet Delights (which also has ice cream). You can also use the golf cart to go to Tahiti Beach. The dock at Pa Willie's is very solid and was so convenient to dock our 27 ft boat. The proximity of the dock to the house makes it easy to transport stuff to and from the boat to get ready for each day. The Pa Willie's dock is close to the post office dock, which is one of the Hope Town Inn ferry stops. It is very easy to either drive the boat over to Hope Town Inn to hang out, or you can also take the ferry. The pool at Hope Town Inn is great, and the lobster grilled cheese is amazing. Lory is also very attentive and extremely easy to work with. Pa Willie's was perfect for us, and we would definitely stay here again.
Hope Town and Pa Willieâs was even better than we had hoped. The cottage is well equipped for a family of 4. Perfect location for beach and snorkel. Our boat and cart rentals were right across the street each day so close to the cottage.
Property was very cute and comfortable. Really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Check out time was a bit too early at 9:30. For the price, a few basic upgrades would be nice. Like a better shower and kitchen.
Pa Willieâs is a quaint cottage in the village of HopeTown. Itâs close to the beach, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay and would rent it again. Lory was helpful answering our questions.
Pa Willie's is just as it is described. It is not fancy by any means, but well equipped, clean and the very best location. A boat dock just steps away. Lory was wonderful to communicate with - we did have a power outage and her response was almost immediate and we were good to go in no time. Would stay there again and hope to!!!
Pa Willieâs is perfectly situated in Hopetown. We enjoyed long walks every day and visiting our favorite spots by golf cart and boat, which was especially easy with the propertyâs dock and cart parking. We had everything we needed for our stay and everything was in working order. The bed was very comfortable and the house was very clean.
We stayed at this classic settlement home with a party of 4 adults. It was comfortable and convenient. We could sit on the porch to read or we could explore Hope Town and the north end on foot. A beautiful beach was steps away. The house provided a relaxing week after a prior chaotic week stay with family.
Our stay at this cottage was wonderful. We love Hopetown and have visited often, but this was the first time we've stayed right in town. It was really fun and the convenience was perfect for our group of four senior citizens.
A very traditional Bahamian home in the heat of heart town. Has everything you need except food. A stop at Marsh Harbor grocery might be a good idea if youâre picky about what you like. Three stores on the island however limited choices. Youâll definitely need a golf cart if you want to explore the island. Weâll definitely recommend this property to any of our friends heading to Elbow Csy. Lory is a wonderful house manager. Julie Boardman
We had a wonderful time at Paul Willieâs. We rented the boat so this location is ideal. The house had everything you would ever need in the kitchen and was well stocked with paper goods. The host promptly attended to a problem when we arrived and was easy to deal with. The AC is wonderful!
The house was comfortable and met all of our expectations. We were a bit confused as to how to get there â from the Post Office Dock, walk to the second cross street and turn right... a few houses past the Methodist Church. Short walk to the beach. The only problem was that the water in the upstairs sink didn't work but everything else was wonderful!!
Perfectly met all my expectations. Host was awesome and took care of things. Lory was so great at responding quickly to all communications. This is an older property that has all the charm and quirky details that youâd expect from an older home in Hope Town but with everything you need. Being located right on the edge of the settlement made it very convenient.
Great location and had wonderful weather. Communication with Lory was great and got prompt responses. Good AC and loved the front porch and so close to the beach.
