"The Riu Paradise Island is full of guests from the US with no style, sorry to say that! You can eat and drink the whole day and you can see this on the guests. It‘s unbelievable how they enter the restaurants. In Bikinis und nothing else on. The food at the Buffet is typical american. A lot of greasy stuff. The Theme Restaurants are slightly better but served in such a rush, not very nice. The Hotel complex from outside is horrible. The rooms are okay. What we really loved was the nice and clean beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. But the Jetski‘s spoile the pleasure. Staff is okay but sometimes rude. All in all not my favourite!"

" : Good location close to the city center; nice view and nice rooms; good infrastructure. -: No real fine dining restaurant within the hotel (except the completely overprized JWB Steak House); room service was poor and does not match at all 5* hotel standard (neither regarding the selection of food nor the quality of delivery); request for a second chair on the balcony was denied; no wine and toothbrush glasses in the room, no mini bar, refill of water bottles and shower gel only on request; furniture of the rooftop bar is going to rack; pools are not deep enough for real swimming exercice.
