Staff was great and real friendly. Hotel itself was an older hotel but if you're looking for somewhere to lay your head, it's sufficient. Beds are not real great but are certainly not the worst (we stayed in 2 different rooms on 2 different nights) Courtyard was pretty and had more than enough chairs etc for the using.

Convenient location to the airport. We stayed here just one night since our flight got in very late and we just wanted a easy place to check-in and spend one night before moving across the island to another location the next day. The check-in process was easy and the desk was staffed very late at night. The room was clean and pleasant. We didn't spend very long at this hotel, so we didn't use many of the amenities.

Our stay at the Maui Beach Hotel was not ideal. The overall feeling we took away was that of greed with a touch of deceit! The photographer hired for this hotel should be given a raise as the real life experience is nothing like what is portrayed in the photos. From the dirty and dingy carpeting to the literal human feces in the parking lot and just about everything in between we were not pleased. There was an incessant clicking when the AC was on and long black hairs in the shower. We also saw free breakfast advertised prevalently yet apparently did not qualify nor did they honor our kama’aina status by waiving the amenity fee. Overall we felt like the Maui Beach Hotel cares solely for money and does not prioritize the guest experience or the upkeep of their property.

When we arrived they gave us the keys to a dirty room. We went back and told them and they gave us the keys to a different room it was very hot we had a hard time getting the ac going and we were on the first floor and the windows didn’t open. There was no shampoo there. Just not pleasant nor smooth.

The room was less than appealing. It smelled very musty. There was no hand soap. We reserved a room overlooking the beach but were given a room overlooking the highway (opposite). I didn't ask them to change it because we were only staying one night until we checked into our condo for the remainder of our visit.

Minnie the front desk staff was superb - helped us stay in our room an extra half day without having to move, got our parking pass extended, offered towels for a day at the beach - she was top notch!! Great location near the airport. Loved the staff. Ocean front room was perfect.
