The staff was friendly and great.The hotel room was adequate and the bed was comfortable.The restaurant, when open, was good. However the place is in need of renovation. It could really use a coat of paint and new carpet, as it was worn away in our room. The cleanliness of the rooms was okay, but could have been cleaner. Plus we got locked out on the balcony which seems like a safety issue. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at your hotel.

Yes! This hotel fully met my needs after a very long, tediuous flight from South Dakota. Just used it to adjust to a different time zone and get some rest. This Hotel met all my criteria and I would recommend it after a long day of traveling from the Mainland to Hawaii.

I recently stayed at the Maui Beach Hotel and would rate my experience a 3 out of 5. The receptionist, Mina, was very nice and welcoming, which made check‑in pleasant. The room itself was small, and unfortunately I did find a few cockroaches in my room during my stay. My mattress didn’t have a fitted sheet—only the top linen—which made the bed feel unfinished. Another concern was the shared ice‑machine/microwave room. The doors and walls were noticeably dirty, and it didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly. I arrived on a Sunday night, and from Sunday through Wednesday the same popcorn and litter stayed on the floor without being picked up. Overall, the staff was kind, but the cleanliness and room conditions need improvement. With better upkeep, this hotel could offer a much more comfortable stay.

Does not match the pictures at all. We checked in and checked back out within a hour. Not a good hotel to stay at with kids that want to swim and enjoy Hawaii.

Just so disappointing. We stayed here for our honeymoon and decided to “splurge” for an ocean view room. We had a first floor room that was so tiny it didn’t even have two night stands, no real bathroom door, horrible water pressure, cockroaches in the bed, and a view of the parking lot. The housekeeping only came twice during our 6 day stay, when we arrived there was blood on the wall in the bathroom. Whoever took the photos on the website deserves a raise because it is so misconceiving. There are homeless people camping on the beach, it is covered with trash, and all you hear is the beeping of the harbor shipping containers. I’ve stayed at so many hotels and this hotel is about as nice as a motel 6. Oh and they charge $15 (going to $25 in 2026) for parking. The restaurant buffet is $60 a person and the breakfast is $20 a person, not included like they make you think. Just save yourself the trouble and stay next door at the Hampton.

We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and how they kept our rooms so clean. We loved the convenience of walking right to the ocean or relaxing on a lounge chair and looking at the ocean. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to eat breakfast and dinner there every day. Also, shuttle service to the airport was so helpful!!!
