The room was really comfortable and luxurious! I also loved the party room at the top floor, which served some great hors d'oeuvres and nice drinks! I would love to come stay here again when I'm back in Lisbon!

We were disappointed with the below average quality of the breakfast food. The comfort level in the breakfast room was terrible as the room was very hot and humid everyday. It only got worse as more people entered. It was very busy and hectic with large coach tour groups dominating the venue. The room was large but with very "tired" furnishing. The structure of the building was somewhat odd with poorly located elevators that were, themselves, very slow and small. The neighbourhood was very questionable, especially at early evening and later. Overall, I would not rate our stay, (nine nights), as a particularly satisfying one. This hotel that had ambition was merely basic!

Great stay at Hotel Mundial. Staff was friendly and attentive, good room and the location is very central - you could hop onto the start of popular tram 28 line outside the front lobby. Walkable bustling area, but you'd never know with the quiet rooms. Having the rooftop bar and restaurant were a bonus, beautiful views and delicious food. And the breakfast buffet was handy, especially before our airport departure. Would stay again.

The hotel is in a good part of town. Almost everything you want to do is within a reasonable walking distance or close to bus , train or the tram 28 routes. The breakfast that is included is very good and they change some of the menu regularly. Room service is not the best. We had to ask for clean towels several times and they don’t do a great job cleaning overall. It seems to depend on who’s cleaning the rooms. Some days were good. The elevators are a problem. They really only fit 4 people and in the morning it can be slow getting up or down to the breakfast restaurant. The mini bar in the room is a pay bar but you wouldn’t know because there isn’t a price list in the room. Because of where the hotel is located it can get loud at night but overall we had a very good experience at this hotel.

Once our king bed was converted to the two singles we requested, all was well, the room was very nice. The hotel has a fabulous roof top outdoor bar, perfect to view the lights of the city and a very nice restaurant with city views including the castle. and The location is perfect for walking, there is a plethora of restaurants and shops, an easy walk to the seaside passing monuments and amazing architecture. The trams stop just outside the hotel which is perfect to catch an interesting ride to the heights of Lisbon to take in the most beautiful views. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend Hotel Mundial.

The hotel check-in was chaotic and it felt impersonal. Once we arrived into our room, it smelled like cigarettes, it was hot and the windows were very dirty. We loved the open roof deck where we enjoyed a view of the city but the staff was very regimented about seating people and made it feel like we weren't guests at our own hotel.

We appreciated our upgrade to a junior suite. Our view of the castle on the hill inspired us to go there. A member of the front desk staff directed us to the most convenient way to reach that destination. We also enjoyed the Roof Top bar, and had three lunches there.

Room was clean, AC worked great. Didn't like that twin beds were moved together to make a larger/ queen size bed.Mattresses were rather firm/ minimal padding...only ok for comfort.
