The bathroom smelt like sewer each day. I am pretty sure it was coming from the toilet. I tried to take a shower at 3 pm and it took a very long time to get hot water. The shower had a bar of old soap at the top when I got in there. Upon arrival there were not carts for my luggage, I did find one for my last haul out of the room for departure.

We had booked two room, one for my husband and myself another for our boys 21 and 12. They gave us 2 rooms with king size beds, when that wasn’t what we had reserved. Not only that our rooms were at each end of the hallway- a little common sense for the person in charge- WHY WOULD THAT MAKE SENSE. One of our rooms smelled like a cat box, the smell of cat urine was so strong when we complained we were told oh we can give you a room with two beds- LIKE WE ORDERED TO BEGIN WITH. The bed and the service were down right awful. And then everytime we went down stairs the fat guy working the desk who checked us in would heckle us- do you want sheets for the pull out couch? Are you sure you don’t want a different room? 10/10 wouldn’t return.

The whole place was dirty. It looked like someone got sick on the carpet in the hallway, and never got cleaned up properly. Wood moldings were falling apart everywhere. Things were just disgusting. Not what I usually encounter with a La Quinta. Will be a long time before I book another.
