We had a great stay at Sun N Sound! The room was surprisingly spacious and well-kept, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the boats and close to the action, yet still peaceful. The sunsets over the water were absolutely incredible. We did have a small issue with the door code when we first arrived, which we later learned was due to limited service in the area. Once that was sorted out, everything was smooth sailing from there. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot if you’re looking for a relaxing Montauk getaway with gorgeous views and convenience to the marina. Would definitely return!

Great location and a wonderful view! I wouldn't say there was anything special or over the top for the room, had what we needed. The pool was clean and refreshing. The grounds were very well maintained and an incredibly friendly staff.

Best kept secret in Montauk, clean renovated rooms with amazing views. Only down side is they text you your door code, but there is no service in the area. Just ask the friendly front desk staff and they will let you know the code.

We stayed 2 nights in Unit 211. The views are amazing from the balcony. It was comfortable and clean… needs some updating inside and out but we enjoyed staying and will definitely stay again.

The staff was so wonderful…& nothing could beat the view. I really LOVED the room. It was a comfortable studio with a small but totally functional kitchen, a kitchen table & chairs, a comfy sofa & a queen size bed - ALL -with views of the water. My only hesitations had to do with sleep. The queen bed felt old and lumpy…& putting some kind of topper over the mattress did not disguise the lumpiness. Also, the rooms above us had lofts - so they probably worked well for families. But at 6 AM, when the little children ran across the floor - we heard every little footstep. Of course that’s expected for little children, but it’s too bad the motel didn’t add the type of flooring that could better absorb the sound.

Everything was good, they upgraded our room since there was an availability, however we had difficulty with the locks for the door, it was waste of time for us to to wait till it was fixed(actually it wasn’t fixed.) They ended up giving us the key instead of the code since they couldn’t figure out how to fix it.
