The hotel has a nice interior, the rooms are on the smaller side with a very comfortable bed. However, we had no hot water for the entirety of our stay for 5 nights. The staff kept saying it's getting fixed but we never had hot water in late November/early December. The hotel only operates on a self service for late check in/early check out that wasn't the most straight forward to operate, especially when tired. Nice enough but wouldn't go our of my way to recommend.

Nice hotel, nice staff. Room was not set up for 3 as booked and not enough towels though. Disappointingly no coffee facilities and could not even purchase a coffee on Sunday as only 1 staff member working who couldn’t work the coffee machine.!

On three out of seven nights of my stay there was a party on the floor above (roof floor), lasting as late as 3am, with loud music and people shouting. Commenting on the matter to the staff after the first night didn't help. In addition, a couple of days before I left the hot water stopped. Again, after complaining at the reception the problem wasn't solved. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable.

We only stayed one night while traveling through Munich, but we were so happy to have discovered Cocoon Sendlinger Tor! The staff were very kind and helpful. The décor was beautiful and cozy. The room was spacious and super clean, with a big, comfortable bed. They offered free water and fruit, which is a lovely touch in a world where everything costs extra. Breakfast is quite pricey, so weskipped this time.Highly recommended! Herzlichen Dank!

Super close location to the train station and many restaurants! The hotel was very clean, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was lovely. The bar and food options were also great! My only normal, typical American complaint is the mattress is VERY firm. Because of all the positives we would stay here again!

Just a few blocks from the Oktoberfest. Multiple public transportation options nearby, great breakfast, delicious pizza, cool decor (the rooms’ decor could be as cool as the lobby…). Walkable to most interest points. Would definitely stay again.

We were so lucky to get a parking spot onsite. The beds were a little hard to our liking, but everything else was absolutely perfect. LOVED the lobby, pizza restaurant, incredible service. Highly recommend.

Nice

The staff were surprisingly friendly and helpful, they spoke very good English (and one of them even spoke Spanish). We were wowed by the decoration and theme of the hotel, it was very unique (pleasantly so). The beds were very comfortable and we loved the view into the shared courtyard. I think we chose a very unfortunate time to stay, because the street directly in front of the hotel was under construction for most of our nights there, which made getting Ubers a challenge, and we didn't get to explore that street very much. Also, one of the rooms we booked had a very old-fashioned A/C control that never seemed to work. Then there was a night where no one had hot water due to an electrical issue with the building. I also wished there were more trash bins in the rooms, especially considering they don't do daily room service. A regret I have is not having tried the breakfast, because it looked and smelled delicious every single morning (but we tried to save money on it). Assuming the issues we experienced were just poor luck, I would recommend this place. If they are consistent issues though, it might be worth looking elsewhere.

A nice boutique hotel within walking distance of two U-bahn stations and a tram stop. Our room was clean and comfortable, although the air conditioning was totally ineffective despite it making lots of noise! The shower is quite strangely placed in the centre of the room but if you’re travelling as a couple should be fine. Less ideal if travelling with a friend! Staff were friendly and helpful, but seemed totally overwhelmed at breakfast. I would stay here again if I return to Munich.
