Such a great hotel to stay at when visiting Munich. The hotel is right across from the central train station which makes travel around the city and to the airport very convenient. Historic building with lots of character and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. This is our second stay at this hotel and it is top of our list when visiting Munich!!

Awful stay, thankfully only for one night. Toliet wasn't flushed in one of the rooms I booked so didn't get off to a great first impression for my other guests. Showers in both rooms didn't work properly and flooded the bathroom floors. Final straw was having dinner in the restaurant and the waiter misunderstood one of our orders so wrong dish came out. Surely not a big deal just change it to the correct one (which was also significantly more expensive than what was served), instead the restaurant manager came over and shouted at us, claiming we were lying - he wasn't even there when the order was taken. Stayed here two years ago and was great, don't know what's happened but won't be back

Great staff, always on hand. Breakfast was ideal, with a large choice. Room was minimilistic and stylish, and always kept clean. Unfortunately the taxi rank next door like to honk their horns repeatedly all night long.
