We were immediately greeted upon arrival by David. He was energetic, friendly & got us checked in quickly. He provided a ton of feedback on Broadway shows & other recommendations when asked. He’s knowledgeable on all things NYC & a definite asset to the hotel! All front desk staff we encountered were friendly. Elevators were a little slow, but fine. Room was small (cozy queen), but sufficient for 2 nights. Bed was against the window so only one way in and out. There wasn’t much space to store clothing - a small hook with 4 hangers & a peg rack on the wall, so most of our items stayed in the suitcase. There was a small drawer, a place for shoes & small bags in a lighted out cove under the bed. The bathroom was fine, but a bit too small for myself & daughter to be in there getting ready at the same time. The shower was beautifully tiled, but only had a half wall & nowhere to put toiletries. The settee was nice, but would rather have had a desk or table there. There was nowhere to eat or place food except a tiny side table. The view we had from the 17th floor was fantastic. I also appreciated the blackout shades. And there was a water bottle filling station in the hallway. Location was great. Close to Times Square but not right in the thick of it. Not too far from Rockefeller Center & Bryant Park. We were able to walk to the Columbus Circle area of Central Park fairly easily as well. Sombrero restaurant next door was good for a quick meal. Overall, the stay was enjoyable!
