We were very happy with Sonesta/Shelborne, the staff was friendly and professional. The hotel looked very clean. The food at restaurant was delicious. The rooftop bar was gorgeous. We didn't meet one staff that didn't make us at home.

Like - the entire staff were very pleasant, friendly & helpful. We enjoyed both restaurants in the hotel, Vintage Green & Take Care. The atmosphere, servers, food and drinks were exceptional! Not Like - the room was comfortable but a bit stuffy in the evening. We had to sleep with the window opened 3 of the 4 nights whike we were there. Also, the bathroom, however spacious, needed something to place our toiletries on. The shower design was challenging as the water kept running over all over the floor.

Good location. Easy walk to Grand Central. Neighbourhood felt safe. Plenty of food premises nearby. Sofa bed wasnt made up on arrival and we had to request sheets. You also need to request a kitchen kit as this is not provided as standard. Hotel happy to store cases for late flight. Would stay again.

Everything in midtown is super walkable. 6-7mins to Grand Central, and 10-15 min walk to Times Square are. Off the beaten track enough that it feels safe and convenient. Staff was super kind and knowledgeable.

Service staff all around friendly and accommodating. Beds had fewer pillows on them at arrival than expected but they delivered more on request no problem. Bath tub a little too slippery. Great location near many international restaurants, view of the Empire State Building from their amazing rooftop bar!
