This property would have been 5 stars if only cleanliness and staff had been considered. However they mention having a bar area…yet there was never a bartender. Also scaffolding covered the front and all of a sudden one day, it blocked our view of the street and banged all day. I realize maintenance needs to be done sometimes but it detracted from the experience. The breakfast was adequate and the staff was friendly however. Also the check in process was efficient. The room was spotlessly clean. Just a few small issues corrected would have made this a 5 star property.

Very centrally located for easy walking access to nice restaurants and shops. Also right on a tramline so can take that to and from the airport. Rooms are smallish but clean and tastefully done. Also appreciated that the hotel is doing its part to be environmentally friendly.

I liked this well-situated, safe, and quiet hotel very much. Breakfast was very good. My room and the property were fresh and clean. However, I found the basic toiletries on offer lacking (only shower soap/shampoo/hand soap), and my room's furnishings were austere (no comfortable chair). Also, I would have liked a full set of towels, including a washcloth and perhaps a spare set while one set was drying.

Charming

Great little hotel. We had a corner view which had windows on both sides. Staff were very nice. Walking distance to beach. A lot to see around you.
