We really enjoyed our stay at “Soul Surfer”. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked and had adequate space to work in. The second fridge in the garage was wonderful and all the beach gear and bikes were much appreciated. The check-in was easy breezy and we loved the proximity to the Rosemary shopping area and restaurants. The only issue that needs to be addressed at the house is the grill. It was almost unusable due to the rust on the grill. I’m sure the saltwater aids in the rusting. The beach was beautiful, but it is very crowded. We did get the front row a couple of days, but were 3-4 rows back 3 of the days.

Soul Surfer Grad trip

Great place, very accessible to everything. Only hiccup was the bikes were not really in very good shape (one broken seat, one broken pedal, and one had a chain break). Otherwise would highly recommend.

Soul Surfer

Friends and I stayed here for a long weekend trip. The house was in the perfect location, walking distance to both Rosemary and Aly’s, beach and restaurants. The house accurately accommodated our group of 8 with a little extra room. The check in process was easy and I was able to get early check in by paying a small fee, which was helpful. The house came with beach towels and some other chairs and beach items. We enjoyed our stay at the Soul Surfer for the weekend trip and everything was very easily located. I would say that you can tell by the walls it is rented out a lot and could use some touch ups. The beds were comfortable.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed the condo!!! It was clean and we were able to check in a little early. The bikes and beach equipment provided were amazing and all age groups had something they could use! The beds were very comfortable and we had an abundance of bath and beach towels provided. I highly recommend this condo. Sandpiper was very helpful and quick to assist us when we needed them. We look forward to our next stay with Sandpiper.

Spring Break 2024

My extended family and I had a great stay at "Soul Surfer." We had 10 people including a 9 yo, 12yo, and 16 yo. The location can't be beat. It's a short walk or shuttle ride to the beach. The house does have plenty of beach toys, beach towels, and beach chairs for use and the layout was great for our extended family with a bathroom for every room. The shared pool was fantastic but not heated so a little chilly in March. The grill was gas and not charcoal as listed. Overall, we had an amazing time, in large part because of the great house and location!

Wonderful beach house, beach has lots of rules

The house was great! Loved the layout. My husband loved the mattress in the master bedroom. It was a little too firm for my personal preference. Plenty of pillows and towels. Patio/balcony off of each bedroom. We couldn’t use the smart function of the tv all week because we didn’t have the right remote and then the last night we found that remote squished under the couch cushions! We also discovered we could cast shows from our iPad on to the tv the last night. Wish we had figured that out sooner! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Pantry was huge (needs a light in there though!) We appreciated the second fridge in the garage and the extra ice maker. Also all the chairs and beach gear was great! We were super close to the pool and beach and our kids loved riding the tram. The pool has a little bar and grill. Our only complaint would be the rules on the beach. No canopy tents are allowed so we had to rent umbrellas which is annoying because they’re expensive. They are also inferior to a tent in regards to shade and getting in and out from under it and visibility when you’re under it. The security guard at the entrance of the private neighborhood is the one who enforced the rules. So if your tent is compact and he doesn’t see it or you go later in the day, then I guess you could get away with it. We had a 10x10 ft tent from academy that he saw in our wagon and wouldn’t let us bring down. Some people set up small tents like the Sun Ninja or Shibumi so those would be good alternatives. Also you could only bring a wagon if a child rode in it. And no golf carts are allowed in the neighborhood or Rosemary Beach which is a bummer because they’re fun!

We were very pleased with the location of this house, the size of the bedrooms, and the “extras” available in the garage. The kitchen was also well stocked. Our family enjoyed our stay very much! And the Sandpiper reps were very helpful.

Amazing Beach Week

We had 4 families that comfortably enjoyed starting our summer at Soul Surfer. It is an amazing space with a great location at Seacrest. Minutes from the pool, beach, or peddlers pavilion. The amenities are the best we have experienced with bikes, beach and pool toys, inside games and toys, etc! Plenty of space for food and drinks for the whole week!

NICE PLACE-STUPID RULES-GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

OUR HOUSE WAS VERY NICE, BUT THE RULES FOR THE AREA WHERE IT WAS, WERE TERRIBLE. THE HOUSE WAS FAIRLY CLEAN, HOWEVER HOUSEKEEPING DIDN'T QUITE FINISH BEFORE THEY LEFT. THERE WAS DIRTY SILVERWARE LEFT IN THE DRAWER, TRASH LEFT AROUND OUTSIDE THE BUILDING (INCLUDING THE BALCONY), AND THE TRASH CAN WAS OVERFLOWING (VERY STINKY). THEY ALSO LEFT THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR OPEN. WHEN WE CALLED THE PROPERTY MANAGER AT 5:30 TO DISCUSS THESE ISSUES, THE VOICE-MAIL SAID THEY WERE OPEN UNTIL 6. WE GOT A CALL BACK AT AROUND 4 ON THURSDAY. THE STACKED WASHER/DRYER WAS WAY TO SMALL FOR THAT SIZE UNIT. THE BIKES DO NOT MATCH THE PICTURE. THERE WERE SEVERAL BEACH ITEMS IN THE GARAGE. THE POOL AREA WAS VERY LARGE, AND VERY NICE. THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS A 5 MINUTE FAIRLY EASY WALK. THERE WAS HOWEVER ABOUT 20 STAIR STEPS DOWN TO THE WATER. THE BEACH IS WHAT MADE THIS VACATION, NOT SO MUCH OF A VACATION. MOST OF THE BEACH IS 'PRIVATE'. ABOUT 200' TO THE LEFT OF THE STAIRS IS FILLED WITH 5 ROWS OF OVER-PRICED BEACH CHAIRS. BEYOND THAT IS A DIFFERENT 'BEACH' YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED ON. TO THE RIGHT ARE MORE BEACH CHAIRS. THERE IS ABOUT 120' BETWEEN THEBEACH CHAIRS WHERE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO GO. WE HAD TO GET DOWN THERE AT 6AM EVERY MORNING TO 'CLAIM' OUR SPOT. WE WERE PACKED INTO THIS AREA LIKE SARDINES. THE WORSE PART WAS, THAT BEYOND THE CHAIRS TO THE RIGHT, FOR ABOUT A MILE THE BEACH WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY. THESE WERE PRIVATE BEACHES FOR THE HOUSE. YOU COULD ONLY GO DOWN THERE BELOW THE HIGH TIDE LINE. THE AREA WAS VERY NICE, LOTS OF PLACES TO WALK TO. VERY EXPENSIVE THOUGH. IF YOU WANTED GROCERIES OR FAST FOOD, IT WAS ABOUT A 15-20 MINUTE DRIVE. THE SIDEWALKS NEEDED TO BE WIDER, OR A BIKE LANE NEEDS TO BE ESTABLISHED. WE WERE CONSTANTLY DODGING BIKES. OUR ADVICE, DON'T GO HERE UNLESS IT IS OFF SEASON. THE BEACH RULES MADE THIS VACATION STRESSFUL AND ALMOST UNENJOYABLE.

The home was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty big enough to cook meals for the family. I loved the location, the front row of homes on 30A made it easy for small children to walk to the beach. We appreciated the use of the bikes and not having to rent them. The rental definitely made our vacation more enjoyable.

We absolutely loved everything about Soul Surfer!! The place was exactly as pictured and described! We loved the location. The walk to the pool and the beach was perfect. We loved having the bikes in the garage and took advantage of riding them to breakfast each day. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We have stayed many places along 30A over the years and this is definitely the best! We hope to definitely stay here again!!

We had a great stay! Beautifully decorated. The bottom floor bdrm was a little disappointing with the tiny bunkbeds for kids only. We missed having the bed in there that was in the pics. A big thank you for letting us use all the beach gear.

Location was spot on! Very convenient to everything, homeowner has plenty of bikes and outdoor things needed to save dollars while staying and we truly appreciated the use of those! Parking at home the best ! Maybe would consider working on the sitting , have lots of places for people to sleep but not enough seating at table for guest . Kitchen is a hot mess. Needs redesign major , very hard to have more than two in kitchen at a time . Mattresses really need replacing- bathrooms have been updated but still needs help in the important areas for sleep and kitchen . Manager the best! She is very communitive !
