Have stayed here many times and this time hit different. The on site restaurant and bar was closed indefinitely but was not updated on the website or Expedia. This was the same for the gym and sauna! We come here specifically for the themed pool and water slide but this time the water was very cloudy and just looked dirty then there were no pool towels! We had brought friends down to introduce what we always found to be a wonderful experience and we're left apologizing.

We had a great time! The staff was very friendly , rooms smelled nice and clean, the beds were comfy- the kids loved the pool! Only flaw was children under 16 not allowed in hot tub but other than that we had a great stay!

This was our first time staying at the John Carver inn and it was very disappointing for the rate we expected a better experience. The room was okay but there was hair in the tub. And they only option for coffee was the coffee maker in the room and it was filthy. The pool area with sauna we're closed down for renovations but the hot tub was open. We enjoyed it until we got back to the room and noticed our bodies were covered in rashes.

We like the hotel in general. But yesterday the hot tub was down mainly because the staff doesn’t seem to know how to operate it. We were looking forward to the hot tub and sauna and both were shut off at 6pm at night. Earlier in the week in a past stay it all worked fine. Disappointed.

Under renovations but they kept it very quiet. The heater however was very loud and there was clothes left behind in the room from the previous guest. Management did supply us with a change of room. Comfort was good and staff were helpful.
