Overall the hotel is great especially the ambar being next to the beach and the pool. The food was good at the restaurants, some better than others. My issues were more with customer service. We asked for umbrellas during a day of pouring rain and it too three times of asking and calling to finally get one. We were also supposed to get a free bottle of wine with our room that never happened after asking multiple times about it. And lastly I went to pay my bill and the staff did not inform me that there was a USD tax when choosing the USD option for a credit card that was 10%! I thought I was overcharged but they basically said they can’t do anything since I didn’t hit the Dominican currency that was only 2% after I already paid so I got duped another $50 with my bill because I was basically told to just run my card without currency explained. I would come back I just wish the communication was better with requests and the front desk.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The entertainment we fantastic. Yamie, Madelin and Rolando the entertainment team was so much fun and entertaining, they worked hard to keep everyone entertained. Kelvin the pool bartender was awesome. Cant wait to go back. Our room was cleaned daily and she left the cutest towel decoration aling with fresh flowers. The was amazing. I wish I could remember her name. She worked in rooms starting in 63. Thank you all for a great 2 weeks ❤️

Overall, I had a very good experience. The staff, especially in the buffet, were attentive, friendly, and quick to help — even returning my forgotten AirPods, which I really appreciated. The pool and beach were fantastic. However, the bed was uncomfortable, and the steakhouse was disappointing with burnt appetizers, watery sauce, and one rude staff member. Reception staff could also be more welcoming and improve their English for better communication. Despite these issues, the service and atmosphere made for an enjoyable stay.

Pros: what I like about this resort is that you are close to all of the other Bahia Principe resorts. I recommend going to there other resorts to experience other events. I like the bar pool they only have one so it might get packed but drinks come out fast. I like how close it is to the beach. Cons: Sports Bar closes at 2am but the kitchen closes early around 10pm. So if you are looking for a late night meal you have to do room service which we did most of the time and there menu is very small. Buffet closes 3 times to prepare for either breakfast, lunch and dinner. So if you get up and they are close and want a quick bite you are out of luck. You have to make reservations to all the other restaurants to get in. Beach had seaweed and didn’t enjoy it as much as the pool. Amber is a very older crown and more of a relax vibe.

Property overall was good, the food was good, people in general were very friendly especially dining staff (Chef Guillermo was the best!). Unfortunately I didn’t have the best check in experience especially as a VIP Expedia Resort. There was no upgrade, none of the VIP were granted, and when inquired, the hotel reception staff, completely disregarded my inquiry. I also had to request various times the refill of water and beer in the room minibar, which was a bit annoying since this is a whole inclusive resort. I also had to remind staff to remove towels from the room even when they were placed on the floor. Instead of removing them, they were refolded and left on the floor. Never experienced something like that. I have been in Punta Cana now 4 times. I am not sure I’d come back especially because of the check in experience. One does not choose a VIP hotel to be treated as any other hotel. Every other VIP place I’ve stayed on has offered superb service.

I wouldn’t come back here, they gave me someone else room upon arrival messed up some of my dinner reservations and told me they were booked for a restaurant but magically there were seats if I bought a $35 bottle of wine other than that other staff were nice and friendly

The service at the restaurants were excellent, except the one by the beach brisas, but during the day for the snacks, the oeople had rude faces and weren't polite at all. The rooms are clean. The entertainment people was good but they didnt do much with games. They talked too much. They were suppost to teach bachata and spoke for almost an hour before they started. All i can say is that i had fun cause i went with the right people to make it fun, but their service have dropped a lot compare to 4 years ago when i went. I do want to give a big shout out to leonardo in the buffet. He providwd excellent service everyday and everyone working there too. I felt very welcomed. Also to Beyonce(Mauricio) for making it fun. Thabka for makinf my birthday special!

Resort was beautiful! Amazing food and of course good drinks!! Lots of opportunities for relaxation but also had an amazing entertainment staff that provided lots of extra activities that made it super fun!
