Great location, in that it's walkable to the main interest points. Only downside is the lobby is a flight of stairs up which makes taking your bag up and down less convenient.

Outside Hotel Victoria is under construction and there are some homeless people around. It feels dirty and unsafe outside particularly at night. This is not really a fault of the hotel and more the city. Inside is an entirely different world. Clean and nice. Staff was courteous. Front desk staff ate bilingual and we had no problem checking in. Room staff don’t speak any English
