Affordable and clean hotel by the airport. Breakfast is included and it’s delicious. Also the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from the airport so that was very helpful. There’s a gift shop and a person that helps with yours. I stayed here twice and would keep returning

Our incoming flight from Dallas was canceled and we ended up in Guatemala City. We arrived at the San Jose Hampton just as breakfast was ending. They let us eat and gave us toothbrushes, as our luggage had not made it there, which was very much appreciated. Nice people.

Very convenient if you landed late at San Jose airport and need an overnight stay. The place is 10 min drive and they have shuttle service from the airport too. Rental car companies like Hertz, etc have their rental offices right across from the hotel so one can have a nice breakfast, pick car and start the trip!

Worst bed...felt like a basic spring mattress. Didn’t get any sleep. Nickle & dime you there. $3 for an 8oz coffee out of a machine. No complimentary water, coffee, or tea in lobby. Only stayed here because Holiday Inn Express was booked. Will never stay here again

Overnight in San Jose

Easy check-in with friendly staff who were bilingual. They let us choose which floor we wanted to stay. Breakfast was excellent with great local fruits and dishes.

Room had little lighting, only lamp by bed so it was pretty dark. Also AC unit was incredibly loud and it was hard sleeping even with ear plugs. Finding the hotel and turning into the area was extremely difficult, no roads labeled and we had to turn into the Holiday Inn hotel and drive thru to get to hotel which was confusing.
