Breakfast experience could be better staffed
The hotel is lovely but needs to clear up a few service issues . Our first morning at breakfast was totally chaotic . There was one lady working trying to do everything which resulted in nobody around to help when needed . Our table not cleared of dirty plates & having to chase her around to give our breakfast order .
She ended up dropping a pile of plates as she was so over stretched . Not a good experience for us either . We worked out the system by ourselves .
The second problem we had regarding service was on the rooftop bar . There was 6 of us staying in the hotel & decided on our first night after arriving in the evening to go up to eat .
The gentleman started off very friendly . We received all our food & he said the bar was closing at a certain time . He said don’t worry you can order before closing & stay as long as you get your order in before closing which we did . He then proceeded to rush us out & get very rude after a short while . I can assure you we weren’t a loud drunken group just wanted to finish our drinks . 🍷. !! We are in our 60’s & one 75 year old so he hardly had to worry we were going to keep him up late !!!!
This is unfortunate for the rest of the staff certainly reception who were very friendly & helpful .
