The location is perfect. We walked to nearly everything while we were there. The house was clean and had a nice area in the back to sit. The property management company is very responsive. Just be aware of parking, there is no assigned spot.
A very convenient location for walking St. Augustine. Everything is within a mile walk. House has a quiet back patio and friendly front porch. The heating /cooling system works well BUT when outside temperatures fall below 40, the floors radiate cold and the heating can't keep up. Above 40 outside, t's very cozy. The only other slight drawback is during the 3rd week of February the Catherdral Festival is happening two doors away. If a lot of noise bothers you in the hours before midnight, you might want to choose a different location that week.
This house was very quiet and quaint. The area is peaceful and friendly. I found it to be very clean with new appliances. One bathroom is small, but the other has a huge tub. the loft is very cute. We drove a full size truck with a super crew cab and it fit perfectly in front of the house. The location is easy to find and close to everything.
This is the second time we have stayed in this house(January 2023) and it was once a great. The location is close to the visitors center and old St. Augustine.
We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home and the location. Very close to all the shops, restaurants and attractions. Not a bad drive to the beach and other activities as well. Also close to the grocery store. The wi-fi worked great and loved that it had a washer and dryer⊠a very cozy environment for two people. Unfortunately the only negative was the backyard. We brought our dog with us and weâre so looking forward to the fenced backyard to let him out in, but as soon as we looked out the back door, the backyard was very rundown and weedy. There was also a massive beehive with 100s of bees in the bottom of the tree. We could not utilize the backyard at all and that was one of the main reasons we rented this house for our dog. If we knew the backyard was like that we would definitely not have picked this place so some attention really needs to be given to the backyard. If youâre renting and want to leave your dog outside, this is not the place for you.
Lovey cottage walkable to all things in town. We enjoyed being so close we didnât have to move our car. My doggo enjoyed it as much as the humans. The house is nice with firm beds and good AC. The backyard is badly in need of maintenance so we didnât spend time there.
This property was even better than expected! The location was perfect, everything was walkable, and the neighborhood was quaint and quite. The interior was very clean, well stocked with anything you could need, and bigger than anticipated! Perfect for our relaxing girls trip.
Very nice place overall parking was not very good it was ok could be better but donât think that will happen cause of way the houses where made back then still very nice place.
Property is just perfect for exploring St. Augustine! We saw all the highlights by walking everywhere. We enjoyed a modified Thanksgiving at the house and just loved using the back yard to hang out and read in the sunshine. Simply relaxing and wonderful!!!
i rcvd the check in process six hrs prior to arriving at property. of priority concern was the door code for entrance. if anything unusual had occurred enroute, could have put us in a delayed situation. entrance info needs to be sent days prior to guests' arrival.
We enjoyed the walkability, historic character of the location and the fenced yard for our pup. As there were only two of us, the space was more than adequate. Two main level bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths (one ensuite). The stairs to the loft bedroom are very narrow and steep, with no upper bath facilities. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciate the inclusion of some beach chairs, towels and an umbrella with the property. Parking is tight and would be difficult for more than one car at a time.
Very charming home. Looks like it does in the pictures. Only exception was the backyard was so overgrown my little dog got lost in the grass đ. Yard should have been mowed before we arrived. Guest bathroom VERY small and that is the only bath with shower. Master bath only had a bathtub but was great for my toddler. Fans in each room would be a nice touch but I brought a very small one of my own. Not closet space in the guest bedroom downstairs (it is locked for owner supplies). Floors are VERY creaky and noisy. My stepdad got horrible allergies when sleeping in the back guest bedroom. He thinks maybe cats have stayed here and he is severely allergic. Maybe mention on the website that cats have stayed here just as a warning? Overall this house worked for us. My little girl was obsessed with the spiral staircase and loft area.
So enjoyed this adorable emerald colored cottage in historic area. Dog friendly with deck in fenced back yard that our dogs loved. Very comfortable for four guests. Only one shower but ok. Would definitely recommend
Great location for walking around historic St. Augustine
The house is just as described. Quiet, charming, and friendly neighborhood location that is easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and many historic/tourist sites. Street parking was not an issue. The shared bathroom with the shower is very tiny, but the bathroom attached to one of the bedrooms (with a bath tub) is spacious. Kitchen is well stocked.
