Me and Mum had a weekend break at St Ives Bay was a wonderful stay staff were kind and helpful and breakfast was yummy. A great location close to the beach and town loads of shops and restaurants will definitely be coming back to this place đâïžâïžâïžâïžâïž
Properrty wants great the bathroom smells of urine. The only plugs available was the ones for TV and kettle so had to swap to charge phones. Beds were uncomfortable. The only good thing was it was near the beach
The room was dirty and the toilet was not flushing. The exhaust in the toilet wasnât working so it was smelly the whole stay. Only good thing about the stay was the beach who was just 10 mins walk. Otherwise, wouldnât recommend the stay at all.
I have stayed here before, so why go back?
The location is excellent. I was aware that the hotel had been closed but, it obviously wasnât for a refurb. The areas I had access to were in need of some TLC.
On arrival there was no friendly greeting from the hotel receptionist but, I suppose we all have those days occasionally.
The carpet in the room was threadbare in places and needed replacing.
When booking, I rang to request a room with easy access for my 91 year old mother (less stairs) She was allocated the second floor?
This was changed at my request but it was a shame my earlier telephone call was disregarded.
Would I go back again, sadly not. The hotel has the potential to be excellent but, it needs the investment.
Big room, comfy beds, decent bathroom a fan. Free WiFi. Short walk to carpark but steep hill or lots of steps. Ten minute walk into town. Didn't try any food or have our room serviced. Reception staff were pleasant on check in and check out.
The hotel is very very dated. The bathroom was particularly small, we are slender builds and anyone bigger would be very uncomfortable. The beds/mattresses were uncomfortable. The room was so hot and window didnât open more than 3inches.
For ÂŁ100 per night, expected for comfort all round.
