Spend the day relaxing on the beach or pampering yourself at Opal Sands Resort's full-service spa.
Opal Sands Resort offers 230 accommodations with a safe and complimentary bottles of water. Rooms open to furnished balconies. Beds feature premium bedding. This accommodation has kitchens with coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include bathrobes, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers.

My friend and I really enjoyed our week long stay. We ate at both restaurants and had delicious food at each one. We were also able to explore the other end of the beach than where we’ve stayed previously and it was much quieter. It also gave us a chance to try out some new restaurants, Salty’s, Taco Bus and Ice & Cream Creamery, that were nearby. Our room had a great view of the gulf and we could see from the beach that the majority, if not all, the rooms had gulf front views. There was also a snack pantry on our floor that had small packaged snacks, fruits, and cookies, as well as ice and water. The only issue I had was the plug in by the bedside table was very loose and I thought my charger was going to come unplugged but it thankfully didn’t.

In Opposition of Opal Sands Resort

I am very disappointed by the treatment I received both prior to and my stay at Opal Sands Resort. There are not enough "characters" for me to write it all here. However, I will be contacting corporate office to share including a conversation between two disgruntled employees in the restaurant onsite as well as the bartender who said he could not make me a strawberry daiquiri because he already washed the blender and "could not find it!" However, we asked the gentleman at the Concierge Desk where could we get a drink, and he shared we could at the restaurant. It placed a dim light on our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Stand by. Dr. Gaines

Pricey, but would recommend

Stay was great, however, the room appeared clean, but my daughter’s stuffy fell behind the bed and when i reached for it, it was covered in dust bunnies. The TV kept coming on by itself but was told that the tv remotes in every room were universal so it could have been a neighbor turning their TV on and it was turning ours on too. The walls are pretty thin, so i believe it. The restaurant on site (Sea-Guini) was very over priced. We ended up trying local restaurants in the area, off the resort. We enjoyed the pool and how close we were to the beach. Valet is mandatory at $40 a day. Overall, although pricey, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend. The views are beautiful!

I had a great stay at this hotel. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The parking was safe and conveniently located within the premises. One of the best parts was the easy access to the beach — just a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again!

This is not particularly handicapped friendly. No access to the beach without using stairs. One restaurant on premises. Had to walk through bridge to get to sister property and more restaurants. Rooms spacious and clean, and the view from the balcony was wonderful, but the sliding doors wouldn’t close completely so it was impossible to cool the rooms. All the staff were exceedingly helpful.
