The hotel is stunning! Location is great and the staff are extremely helpful! Such a beautiful room but not very kid friendly, only reason being that there are stairs to go up to your room, then immediately stairs going down to get into your room, then another small set going to the primary living space. Was a task with a one year old and stroller unfortunately! Besides that, would highly recommend! Parking was on the pricy side and a bit inconvenient considering they close at 11pm. Breakfast, far superior than most places!

It is a historic place. Everyone in Syracusa knows this hotel. There is wonderful breakfast. Rooms are unique and beautiful. We had two rooms that connected with a hallway. Loved the grand staircase. Easy to walk everywhere in Ortigia.

Quiet location within walking distance of everything. Extremely hospitable and knowledgeable staff. The valet parking was great as we used this hotel as a base for exploring up and down the coast (Noto, beaches , Ragusa, Marzamemi etc)Breakfast is exceptional, and the hotel dinner is very, very good. There are numerous bars aperitif and restaurant options all within minutes by walking. We so enjoyed our time here and will return.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel from start to finish. I was traveling with my wife, 2 children (ages 8 and 10), and my wife’s parents. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Catania airport lost our luggage but the wonderful staff relentlessly called and tracked down our luggage and had it delivered to us at the hotel. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered every comfort I needed for a relaxing stay. The suite is perfect for a family of 4. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hotel was very charming. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The location was perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and transport, yet peaceful and quiet at night. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the level of care the staff showed to every guest. This hotel goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. If you want a great hotel with excellent caring staff located in the best part then look no further than Algilà Charme Hotel in Siracusa.

The hotel is very central for all site seeing & bars & restaurants. We were there for week. We had a sea view room on the second floor which was comfortable but lacked storage & you could not sit on the balcony! However after mentioning this to staff on the front desk for our last day they were able to move us to a room with a terrace sea view & jacuzzi which was just lovely for us to relax & enjoy our final day in beautiful Ortigia. Thank you to all the wonderful staff both on the front desk & restaurant areas who were all lovely & so helpful & the breakfast was very plentiful with a good choice for everyone!

Wonderful property and one of our favourites this past trip! The hotel has been impeccably renovated and is full of stunning, interesting architecture while still being comfortable and luxurious. Great discovery in Ortigia

The Ortigia Charme Hotel is a well located hotel on the eastern coast of Ortigia island. Being situated at almost the mid point of the island it is perfectly situated for a leisurely exploration of the area. It looks like a small hotel from the outside but I think it has rooms in adjacent buildings. The staff are very friendly and cheerful at all times of the day. The breakfast is excellent with no problem ordering items not specifically listed on the menu. My only quibble is that the solid floors transmit noise from the room above.

Tranquil in Ortigia

Wonderful boutique hotel in Ortigia. The hotel was in a great location, very quiet and peaceful with looking out to the sea. The staff was extremely accommodating especially Sonia who worked in the bar and restaurant! Would recommend anyone coming to Ortigia to stay here.
