The rooms were super clean. Housekeeping Staff were very helpful, respectful, and attentive. Front Desk staff were also very friendly and attentive. The breakfast could be improved if fruits, eggs, bacon, and sausages were to be introduced to the existing menu.

We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and the amenities were great, the room was spotless clean, beds very comfortable and there was no carpet in the room, which we really appreciated. Only downside was breakfast, no eggs, no savoury options except for processed cheese slices and ham, only unhealthy and extra sweet junk food unfortunately.

The staff, who checked us in, was not friendly at all. She did not say anything when we said “Thank you so much” to her. When she gave us the room key and breakfast coupon, she did not say anything to let us know that was done, we could go. We had to ask her if we could go. She said yes, then we said “Thank you so much”. Then she did not say anything to us. That was rude and unprofessional. This was never happened to us in the US. Maybe it is normal to act like it in Canada. I don’t know. Or maybe she was being racist? We do not know

Despie the room being very dated it was spacious and clean. The location is great for access to north vancouver sites and the ferry. Many dining options are available within walking distance. Breakfast that was included had variety.
