After 3 weeks of traveling around northern Italy we received the most peaceful and quite nights sleep. The staff were extremely patient, kind and helpful for our every need. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were delicious and amazing. We would recommend and stay here again as the location was perfect and ideal to explore Venice.

Nice old hotel in a perfect location. Quiet, but a two minute walk from the vibrant Strada Novo, and a five minute walk from the main ferry terminal at Fundamenta Nuovo

No air conditioner Broken bathtub drain stopper No stop dripping water after flush the toilet. Dirty window curtains ( dead mosquitoes) I have never seen 4 stars hotel like this. You don’t have to book this hotel.

The property was very nice ... no complaints there. But it is advertised as having A/C and there was NOT any A/C. Because it was April and not later in the year they said they do not turn on the A/C until it is much hotter. So needless to say our room felt like a sauna. It was very uncomfortable to try to sleep and just relax.

Great little hotel!

This was such a lovely hotel with a view of a quiet canal on a street that wasn't chaotic like the rest of Venice, which we really appreciated. Overall getting to Venice is quite an undertaking (especially with big luggage) but this hotel made it worthwhile. They offer a daily afternoon tea that was a pleasant surprise; it included coffee, tea, water and some snacks which is so nice after a long day of travel. The breakfast wasn't great, so that is one thing I would do differently: go elsewhere for breakfast. We booked a large room that was amazing, with really high ceilings and a lot of space in the room. The bathroom, however, was very European, aka TINY, but the larger bedroom made it worthwhile.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The rooms have an old-world sophistication to them and are generously large. Breakfast was great and had lots of options. The staff was friendly and the location safe and quite. We visited in April and didnt need AC but only by opening the windows which let in the mosquitos as there are no screens on the windows :( thats about the only thing we had to complain about. Front desk told me they only turn on AC during the summer.

We booked the suite and believe this is the only suite they have. The front desk was friendly and helpful! The check in process is very smooth. We was give a bottle of wine on a daily basis and the complimentary waters were enough to last the entire stay. The bed was huge and comfortable! The pullout sofa bed is very comfortable and our 12 and 16 year old ones were happy. The location is perfect! Overall we highly recommend this place!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating for our group of 14. They helped us print tickets, schedule taxi’s etc. Water taxi pickup is right outside. The hotel is within 3 minutes walking distance to shopping, 7 minutes to gondolas and 15 minutes to major attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, a little dated, but that made it charming. Staff were friendly and super helpful. AC in the room did not work, but we opened our windows and were just fine. Off the beaten path but easily walkable to the main street and ferry/water taxi stops of Venice.

Great little upscale hotel in a quiet neighborhood fronting right onto a Venetian canal. Our water taxi pulled right up to the logia at the hotel’s front door. The staff was efficient and had great dining suggestions. It’s a short 5 minute walk to bars, restaurants and shopping in a far less touristy area. Our room was very large with 2 levels, a full sitting room on the main floor with the bed room on the upper floor with all the walls clad with padded Venetian fabric. Our room had a walkout balcony and a modern marble-clad bathroom. Very elegant! The building is ancient but renovated inside. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay again and highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

The hotel was convenient to vaporetto and popular areas but was a few steps aside in a quiet area. We appreciated the opportunity to recharge away from the hustle. The room we arranged was incredible- charming and comfortable. We were fortunate to get room 401- the exposed beams must be hundreds if year old. A great oasis in Venice.

This property was wonderful and so perfectly located in a nice neighborhood. My husband got very ill and had to have emergency surgery. The staff given the circumstances were absolutely amazing with their support and were so helpful. The manager, Anis (sp?) I can not say enough about how great she was! I would stay there again.

Hotel Maison Venezia is a very nice property located just off the main street in Venice, which is quiet, clean and safe. Spacious clean room, very comfortable bed. Staffs are nice. There is free afternoon tea in the lobby area, and 12pm check out was prefect. Hotel has a bit funny smell when you enter. But it’s just because this city sits on the water. Don’t think it’s hotel’s problem. We enjoyed our stay.

A nice hotel but it needs a facelift. Most of the staff was super supportive and friendly. One thing I didn’t like was that breakfast had time slots and one of the staffers told us that only way to get to airport was by private boat taxi costing about $140 euros. That was not true.

The property is lovely and located at the end of a quiet street. The staff were helpful and friendly in every interaction. It felt like we had easy access to the main attractions without too much walking and could easily retreat back to our hotel when we wanted. Being kind of tucked away from the main piazzas allowed us to stroll past many local restaurants and cafes that were delicious and less expensive than those in the touristy areas. The only downsides were that the A/C struggled to keep up with the heat, the shower needed maintenance, and the onsite breakfast was a little pricey. That said, we definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to a friend.
