Unfortunately hotel is not the same as it used to be. We used to stay at this hotel at least twice a year for the past three years. When we stayed there in February this year, our room was very closed to the elevator which can be pretty noisy. We didn’t complain, but for our resent stay, I reached hotel by email and kindly asked to be placed further from elevator and common areas. When we arrived, we find out that our room is the first room by elevator. That was very disappointing. But the worst thing was room itself. Room was painted in to the bright magnetic orange color. You can’t relax or sleep in environment like that. Next day we requested for a room change, which was done. The reason, why we stayed at this hotel for so many years, was due to amazing staff and hotel’s attention to details. We still like valet parking guys, they are amazing, hotel is clean but it is not as exceptional as it user to be.
