Definitely not a 5-star resort.
Pictures speak for themselves, but here’s my experience:
Upon arrival, I asked for a room closer to the beach. The receptionist, Luz (or Luiz), told me those rooms were only for guests who paid extra — which was not true. When we got to our room, it smelled of mold. After insisting and speaking with her manager, she suddenly said it was a “misunderstanding” in English. By then, we had already wasted a full afternoon going back and forth across the resort trying to get a decent room.
The phones in the room didn’t work, and there were no numbers posted anywhere to reach staff. Pool chairs were impossible to find — many guests (especially large groups of Brits) left towels overnight or before pools even opened at 7 a.m., leaving nothing available unless you were extremely lucky.
Food was average at best — nothing memorable. The beach was covered in sargassum, which left an unpleasant smell.
Overall, this resort is nowhere near a 5-star experience. Between the poor service, lack of organization, and disappointing amenities, it felt like a complete waste of money. I would not recommend and will never return.
