Very good hotel.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms, including bathroom, were more than adequate. The hotel is in an excellent location. The one downside was the bed, which, whilst comfortable from a firmness point of view, caused some perspiration issues, it would seem due to a protective sheet under the bedding.

The place was great, close walk to Plaça de Catalunya and Las Ramblas, very clean, room and bathroom were larger than usual for being in an older European building. Only issue we had was when we got in 1 of the 2 elevators required to get to our room, it would not go. Lucky we were able to pry the door open and get our luggage out. The reception fellow tried very hard to get someone out to fix but it required a part to be purchased after the weekend. He carried our 2 lg. and 2 sm. pieces of luggage down the flights of stairs for us. When departing, the elevator was not yet working so we had to carry all our luggage back up the flights of stairs. The receptionist when we checked out was very friendly and helpful, also. Would recommend.
