Room was not a "Modern Double Room", not even close. You have no room in the shower so the door opens and floods the floor. Was supposed to have a coffe maker, none. Was supposed to include breakfast, none. Did not even have a do not disturb sign in the room or available. The two single beds just fit in the room, no proper padded chair as shown in photos.

Staff very helpful and attentive. Hotel is in a brilliant location for Christmas markets and transport links. Room was roomy and spotless, with towels changed everyday and bed made up. Good selection for breakfast every day

Spotless room, great amenities. EXCELLENT location for walking the streets and finding treasures. Very safe, never felt afraid. Front staff was simply charming, friendly and over the top understanding to our plight....we arrived 5 hours early for check in. It was raining, 8C degrees and miserable. Wonderful front staff took pity on us and checked us in early so we could warm ourselves and rest. She was a lifesaver.

We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on food. Staff pleasant, clean and comfortable room. Good central location, 10 min walk from market place, tram stop close by. My only negative is the strong smell of food throughout the hotel including corridors outside room due to a restaurant being attached and it wasn’t pleasant depending on what they were cooking.

OK for a night in Basel. Warm welcome at reception and room was clean and functional, location of the hotel was good. Room was sold as "deluxe", however this just meant it was larger than the others based on customer reviews. Room felt tired. Bathroom had no window. Nothing luxurious about it!
