The room was absolutely filthy and smelled like stale cigarette smoke. I tried to get a room change and the front desk person offered me air spray. I literally slept in my car in the parking lot because the smell was so bad.

It was an overall good stay, but the place looks so rundown. I know New York is an old city, but I feel like they could change the comforters on the bed and change the curtains and they could also make the place look newer. Do some renovation. I felt like I was in an old haunted house. It's convenient and if you're on a budget, it's a place to stay. I can tell that they clean really well cause I can smell bleach throughout the building, but it's so much rust and dingy walls, that you still feel dirty. Having a dark burgundy, ugly comforter, like the ones they throw on the bed, make you feel like there are critters under there with you while you sleep. My husband picked this place because of the price and he felt it was convenient to get into the city. It was an OK stay, but I'm not so big on aesthetics. I like a place that also looks nice.

The hotel is old and needs a major renovation. Confusing passageways and very few amenities, which we did know about when booking. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Good bed and pillow. Not dirty - just OLD.

Unfortunately, I must express my disappointment with several aspects of my experience. Firstly, considering the extremely high daily rate, I was expecting a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. However, the hotel appeared dirty and run down, with rooms that seemed to have not been updated in decades. This is certainly not what I anticipated for the price paid. Secondly, I felt very unsafe within the facility, which is quite concerning. Safety should be a top priority for any establishment, and I did not feel reassured during my stay. Lastly, the front desk staff did not make me feel welcome at all. They seemed angry and inconvenienced every time I approached them for assistance. This lack of hospitality is quite disheartening and does not reflect well on the overall guest experience. Based on these issues, I regret to say that I would not consider staying at your hotel again. I hope you take this feedback constructively and work towards improving the quality and service at your establishment.
