Came back from dinner one night around 10:30pm to find the hotel was closed, we had been locked out of the property, no hotel staff around, they hadn’t given us main entrance keys or any instructions. Area has practically no cell service and is pitch black/isolated. Spent 1 hour knocking until a security guard appeared (not to mention the mosquito attack). Hotel staff was unreceptive to this situation and even tried to convince us it was our fault, extremely poor service, never coming back.

Uncomfortably Judged

This was a beautiful place, nice and quiet. My only complaint was my daughter and I felt like we didn't fit in, because we didn't have the fancy clothes and were treated like we didn't seem to have as much money, we felt like we were beneath the other guests. I have never felt this way anywhere we have stayed from luxury to basic places. She offered the other guests discounts when they left but apparently felt we didn't tip enough or I guess fit their mold of who they wanted on the property so were not given the same appreciation. Felt like a Julia Roberts moment from Pretty woman. The front desk gal was nice but I felt as if we were bothering her when we asked questions, didn't know there was another person on-site to ask? It is too bad we would have gone back but not with how we felt afterward. The cleaning staff and chef are great.

Absolute paradise

Casa Punta Coco was a highlight of our trip. It is located right on the most beautiful stretch of beach that we saw on the island and offers a boutique experience. We stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor, and it was stunning. Gorgeous views of the water and breath-taking sunsets. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. One pleasant surprise was how incredible the food and drinks are. We ate dinner here every night because it was so good. The chef changes the menu every night and gives you two options. Everything we had was spectacular! It’s about a 20 minute walk along the beach to the town, but we quickly learned that we were on the best part of the island and going to town wasn’t necessary- maybe just for a change in scenery. I cannot say enough good things about Casa Punta Coco.

The hotel is great, the view from the Horizon suite is incredible, the sunrise and sunset from the room is amazing, the chef's food is very good and the staff's attention is impeccable. The location is ideal for a peaceful stay, although it is a bit far from the downtown. The only inconveniences I had were the presence of ants, but this was not serious and the lack of maintenance of the hydromassage tub. If I go back to holbox I would definitely book the same hotel.

Los taxis 9ara llegar al hotel cobraban caro 200 a 300 pesos deade el centro y no tenia opciones de bebida y comida disponibles

Muy satisfechos..

Una excelente opción.. La habitación muy amplia, cómoda y limpia. El servicio 100% personalizado. La cocina excelente. El desayuno está incluido en el costo de la habitación aunque solo lo básico: Huevo, pan, fruta y café. El último día nos ofrecieron adicional hotcakes (deliciosos) pero tuvieron costo aparte. El ambiente muy relajado. Música tranquila, no TV. Lejos del movimiento lo cual es bueno si vas en plan de relax.

El costo del hotel es altísimo y no lo vale , los alimentos son muy limitados , no hay muchas cosas de comer o algunas las cobran. No pueden hacerse pasar por hotel de alta categoría y cobrar un platillo De desayuno q no está en la carta ; me parece absurdo. Nuestro baño por ejemplo la regadera le salpicaba todo afuera , no salía mucha agua y agua caliente salía 3 minutos y se acababa . intentaron hacerlo con acabados modernos y de primera clase pero no les resulto. El Personal no es muy hospitalario. Hay muchas más y mejores opciones q este hotel. No lo recomendaría nunca
