Kare was a great hotel in Faith, Sultan Ahmet, Istanbul near the historic old town. Smaller room, but enough space for 2 people to stay a couple of night. We used the metro to and from the airport with the istanbulkart pass. Very walkable to Hagia Sophia and other sites. However, the restaurant prices were too expensive in this area, so we took the T1 tram west a few stops over past Topkapi station for much more affordable delicious food.

Super convenient location! The front desk was super helpful and kind. Friendly bunch. The carpets in the rooms were stained and just dirty. Should replace them. The closet behind the door of the bed room is so inconvenient. Poorly designed. Showers- the water temperature needs to be regulated. Kept going really hot, then cold, the scorching hot, then cold. Super unenjoyable. Great neighborhood. But would stay somewhere next time.

Nice boutique hotel on a quiet street

Boutique hotel on a narrow street. Nearby restaurants up and down the hill. The hotel itself has wonderful staff that are helpful. The room looks modern and is clean. Breakfast was included and had a decent selection.

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel and everything was great! Room was spacious for 3 adults and lots of luggage. Breakfast was the same daily which was ok. Easy to get around but prepared to walk uphill and downhill as this hotel is located 6 mins away from the tram station. Shower in our hotel room could use some extra clean to get rid of the mold in the tile.

For the cost, this hotel was very nice. It was about a 10 min walk to the Blue Mosque and about 15 to Hagia Sophia. There were numerous small restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Our room had a small problem with odours from the washroom and the shower didn't drain very well. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. Our aiport transfer had trouble getting to the hotel to drop us off due to how narrow the streets are around the hotel.

This location is fantastic for anyone looking for walkable convenience. It’s so easy to get around, with plenty of great spots just a short stroll away. The dining options are particularly impressive—there’s a variety of restaurants to choose from, and every meal we tried was delicious. Overall, it’s a great place to stay or visit if you enjoy exploring on foot and having excellent food options close by. The only minor problem was the prayers at 6 am we are not used to it but to be honest it was not a big deal.

Perfect spot close to everything!

The staff was very friendly!! The location is perfect, hidden enough from the crowds but close enough to the tram station. I appreciated the nice shower after long days exploring the city. The toilet paper quality could be better. Other than that I am happy with my experience.

The 4* are for the hotel itself , staff, room is clean and it has everything that should be there although its a small hotel . Location is so close to the bazar yet to reach the hotel is not that easy and the feeling that you get from the area that is not very safe .
